JRSC@8psi on pump gas?

So, while I was at a shop on Friday I bumped into a guy who had JRSC integra with an 8psi pully. I asked him about and he said he was just running the 8psi, 8 degrees and octane boost in every tank. I just shuddered and walked away.

I know there are a number of people here running 8psi with upgraded fuel systems. What grade fuel do you use?

you should upgrade injectors at 8psi as well as the cartech fuel pressurizer...as well as the HO fuel pump

Hence the reason that I shuddered. He had the JR FPR, the injectors were stock but I'm fairly sure that he high pressure fuel pump in there though.

If you upgrade to larger injectors, and the cartech fmu, I don't think the HO pump is needed, simply the regular pump upgrade. The reason, you won't be running 100 psi of fuel, but more like 70 psi, where the LO pump does fine.

I think you could do 8psi with the JR BTC on stock injectors for a while, but you should think about upgrading.
